Charging Modes

Eco

This mode mixes green energy and electricity from the grid. Eco mode minimises the use of grid power and can charge using 100% green energy. Power is adjusted continuously in response to changes in generation or energy being used elsewhere in the home.

Eco+

Charge power continuously adjusts in response to changes in the solar generation or power consumption elsewhere in the home. Charging pauses if you are importing too much power. It only continues when there is surplus solar power available.

Fast

In fast mode, the vehicle will be charged at maximum power. This power can come from a renewable energy source or the grid.

If you don’t have solar panels the Zappi will charge just like an ordinary Mode 3 charger.
